The amalgamation and refurbishment of Govanhill tenements is nearing completion.
The £350k contract is part of the South-West Govanhill Acquisition & Repair programme, funded by the Scottish Government and Glasgow City Council.
The project involves the amalgamation of 4nr flats to create 2 larger flats, within 2 separate closes in the Govanhill area of Glasgow. Along with the internal refurbishment and reconfiguration of a further 2nr flats.
Awarded under the Association`s Major Repairs Framework, the project includes the installation of new kitchens and bathrooms, full rewiring and plumbing services and internal decoration. CBS will also install new windows, flat entrance, and internal doors.
These newly improved properties will provide much needed homes to the customers of Govanhill Housing Association.
